The work is deliberate, and so are our partnerships.
McK’s works with a small number of private wealth firms at a time, typically partnering directly with leadership teams on long-term institutional development and strategic architecture.

These engagements are not short-term consulting projects. They involve deliberate work on institutional clarity, strategic structure, leadership positioning, and organisational alignment.
As a result, new engagements begin with a conversation to determine whether there is a strong strategic fit between the firm, its leadership, and the work McK’s does.

Who we work with
McK’s typically works with established private wealth management firms overseeing between approximately $2B and $7.5B in client assets, where leadership is focused not only on growth, but on building an enduring institution. The firms we work with are usually at an inflection point — they have built successful advisory businesses, but are now focused on institutional identity, long-term positioning, leadership transition, advisor recruitment, and generational continuity.
We do not work with early-stage firms or individual advisors. Our work is conducted directly with firm leadership and decision-makers.
Beginning the Conversation
Engagements with McK’s begin with an initial conversation with firm leadership to understand the structure of the firm, its strategic direction, and whether the work McK’s does is appropriate for the firm’s stage of development and long-term objectives. If there is a strong fit, we will outline what a potential engagement would look like and how the work would proceed.
